Directions to the Omelet from the Newport Resort:
Drive south on Church Street toward Orchard Road.
Take the 2nd right onto Market Street. Turn right onto Highway 42 (or
Egg Harbor Road). Take the 1st left off of Highway 42
onto County Road G. (Watch for Shipwrecked Supper Club, the big blue
building
on the left.) Follow G a mile south, straight through a stop sign,
until
you see the Alpine Golf Course clubhouse on the left. At the clubhouse
turn right
through two large stone pillars onto East Shore Drive. Follow East Shore
Drive
along the shore three-quarters of a mile around three left curves. (The
name
changes to North Shore Drive, then West Shore Drive as the road winds
left.)
After the third curve, the Omelet is the fourth cottage on the right.
Look for a sign on the stone fence and the name Torinus. 7755 West Shore Drive

Turn left on Highway 42, and drive south to the center of the Village of Egg Harbor . At the center of the village, turn south off of Highway 42

until

Turn right on N. 1st Ave.
toward Louisiana Street. Take the 3rd right onto Jefferson Street. Continue onto N. 8th Ave.
(or County Rd. Hh). Take a slight right onto Egg Harbor Road. Turn left onto Highway 42, and follow the road north. Turn left onto County Road G. (If you
reach Plum Bottom Road, you’ve gone too far.) Take G to the end of the road (you’ll see a golf resort on your right). At the end of the road take a left on Horseshoe Bay Road
(G), and follow down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, turn right
on Horseshoe Bay Road (G). Follow
the road for 2 and a half miles, and take a sharp left turn onto Sunset Lane. Take the 2nd right onto West
Shore Drive. Drive for half a
mile, and the Omelet will be on your left. Look for a sign on the stone fence and
the name Torinus. 7755 West Shore
